Late 1880's corset

It was a lot of time that I wanted make a corset using the pattern from Norah Waugh's Corsets and Crinolines shown on page 81, and finally I did it!
Here it is:

The corset is made out black and ivory satin and sewn using pink thread. It is trimmed with hand-painted lace and  the ends of the bones are flossed with cotton embroidery thread in matching color.

The inside shows the waist-tape on which I painted my name:

1900 evening gown

This dress I made to be displayed is inspired by the early 20th century fashions. I wanted to do an historical work as accurate as I could.
The gown is composed by skirt and bodice and it is made of black satin which I used from it's matt side, and the bodice is trimmed with ivory lace and black velvet on the shoulder straps.

The bodice is fastened by hooks and eyes, at the right side for the drapery, and at the centre front for the under bodice.

The skirt is also fastened by ook and eyes.
