The Sanakor corset: again!

Few weeks ago I started my third Sanakor corset, and after some doubts I finally finished it.
It is made of white satin interlined with coutil and refined with satin floatin lining. For this corset I enjoyed made flossing! In fact I used eight different threads to embroider the ends of the bones.

Here it is:

I tryed to take some pics putting the corset on another mannequin:

1860' cage crinoline

After the corset I did the crinoline!
I decided to do a cage crinoline using steel, gros grain and curtains tape. It is worn over a small padding to improve the shape.
Here it is:

1860' ball dress

This is the ball dress I made for a friend of mine to be worn for a charity ball. It is made of dark aquamarine green taffeta trimmed with french lace and cotton dotted muslin. I based the pattern on the one explained in Janet Arnold's book "Patterns of fashion 2".

And here is its graceful owner attending the ball in her gown!

1867 corset

Recently I finished this little beauty. It is a corset to be worn under a late 1860' dress I sewn for a charity ball. The pattern is taken from la mode illustreè, "9 august 1867".
Here it is:

And here is the pattern, it is marked in red:

The corset is made of a pale green apple taffeta trimmed with valencienne lace and satin ribbon.
